A sweet wedding weekend in Glenwood Springs, Colorado

This wedding weekend was everything!! Emily + Austan are the absolute sweetest couple and bringing their closest friends + family out to their favorite spots in Colorado made for an absolutely beautiful and memorable event.

As Nebraska natives, they had a sweet trip to Colorado and got engaged on Crags Trail in front of the mountains! They were living in Florida at the time and wanted to document their time spent their enjoying the sunshine and beach. For their engagement photos we headed out to St. Pete to ride bikes on the beach and we had the most beautiful sunset!! You can check out those photos here.

To celebrate their marriage they brought their Nebraska + Florida pals all to Glenwood Springs Colorado, to spend the weekend among the beautiful mountains. They were so sweet to include me - we kicked the event off with a rehearsal dinner at their venue, Aspen Glen Club, then headed back to Hotel Colorado for a few drinks as the sun went down and the market lights came on in the romantic courtyard. Em + Austan looked so good for their rehearsal, I convinced them to grab some snaps around the hotel!

This day started out pouring!!! I spent the morning driving to several shops to buy out all their clear umbrellas just in case. But at the same time I knew everything would work out for this sweet couple.

And it did.

The rain started clearing as they finished getting ready, letting them have some emotional first looks with family and a sweet first touch between the two of them.

Ceremony with mountain views

Even though the rain had stopped there was still clouds covering the beautiful mountain we had been waiting 1.5 years to stand in front of. But not even 5 minutes before Emily walked down the aisle the last of the clouds rolled away to reveal Mt. Sopris, leading into a beautiful and emotional ceremony. Sweet vows were shared, feet were washed to demonstrate their commitment to serving each other, and after 7 years together they were finally married!

Really no words can beat photos of this incredible view, so here's some of my fav moments of Em + Austan in newlywed bliss! After photos at the venue, they spent a few moments alone under this beautiful willow, to soak in the day before celebrating with all their guests.
